NPSP is free to use, however it sits on top of Sales & Service Cloud which attracts a monthly rate of $150/mo for Enterprise Edition and $300/mo for Unlimited Edition.

Through the Power of Us Program, Salesforce provides eligible organisations with 10 free licenses to Sales & Services Cloud Enterprise Edition, which effectively makes it free to get started with Salesforce. If your organisation requires additional licenses then they are charged at a discounted price:

Eligibility for the Power of Us Program
Your organisation needs to have the following in place to apply for the Power of Us Program:
- An active trial with Salesforce
- A member of staff who will act as the Salesforce System Administrator
- A letter of authorisation from your organisation’s Executive Director or Board Chair
- Appropriate legal documentation to show your organisation is recognised as a nonprofit organisation (in Australia this is your ACNC Registration or DGR)
