MoveData offers Starter, Plus and Professional Plans. The difference between Starter and Plus is that Plus also allows you to connect one Premium Integration into Salesforce. The difference between Plus and Professional is that Professional allows you to connect unlimited Premium Integrations into Salesforce. To work out which plan you require, take a look at the integration(s) you need connected into Salesforce and decide on the appropriate plan.
Premium integrations are select integrations that are exclusively available to users on Plus or Professional Plans.
Implementing MoveData is simple and easy. First, MoveData is installed into a Sandbox Org and the integrations you require are connected with Salesforce. Second, you review and tell us if you require any changes (typically these are to set values or map data to different fields if you’ve customised Salesforce). Third, if you require changes they are implemented and you conduct acceptance testing. Lastly, we go live into your Production Org and all of your data entry is now automated.
Absolutely! MoveData binds to the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack data model out of the box.
MoveData uses a configuration layer exposed via Salesforce Lightning Flows. To support existing or future customisation inside Salesforce we (or you, or your Salesforce Partner) adjust the Flows to produce the intended outcome. A working knowledge of Flows is required, but once familiar it becomes very simple to support new business rules. For the technically minded we have architected the Flows in such a way that you get all the benefits of declarative, visual, self-documenting process automation with none of the SOQL overhead which would otherwise consume your governor limits. If you would like more information on how we achieve this please book a demo.
MoveData uses a smart processing workflow prevent record duplication.
1. When MoveData receives information from a connected integration the information is “stamped” with the source platform’s unique identifier. Should MoveData encounter that unique identifier again it updates the existing record rather than creating a new one. An example of this is when a donation is refunded, or when a fundraising page is updated – we encounter the same unique identifier and update the original record instead of creating a new one.
2. For contacts and accounts, MoveData also executes your Salesforce duplicate management and matching rules to check if the record already exists inside Salesforce. If Salesforce returns a match, MoveData updates the record and if not we create a new one. This approach is excellent because it allows you to have the same set of duplicate rules operating across all of your data.
We’d love to hear from you! Please contact us so we can organise a technical demonstration.
That’s fine, but there is likely to be some once-off effort to map your integrations since you are not using a standard data model. The best thing to do is to book a demo and from there we can identify any changes your data model might require and then go about implementation.
It depends on the capabilities of the platform being integrated. If the platform has a real time API, then data is pushed into Salesforce in real time. If the platform has a polling API, then data is pushed into Salesforce in ten-minute intervals. If the platform does not have an API, then you’ll need to export a CSV report out of the source platform and upload it into MoveData. In all cases, once information is received by MoveData records are constructed in Salesforce within seconds.
Then contact us! We generally release 1-2 new integrations each month and those with the highest level of demand are prioritised ahead of others.
Yup – there are no limitations on the volume of tasks processed by MoveData.
Nope. Just a single, organisation-wide subscription fee per month.
Absolutely! MoveData is able to successfully process in excess of 180 transactions per minute, per organisation into Salesforce in real life production scenarios. To achieve this level of throughput we use a highly tuned integration pipeline which automatically navigates row-locking errors (which often occur when Salesforce is under high load) and use intelligent rollback and retry mechanisms to ensure partial records are never created. Additionally MoveData uses Amazon Web Services with automated scaling to ensure continuity as burst volumes ramp up. This is all delivered through multiple availability zones which ensure continual uptime even in the event of an AWS data center going down. If you have further questions on this please contact us.
MoveData uses AES-256 level encryption powered by a hardware security appliance (via HSM) with frequent key rotation (via KMS). AES-256 level encryption is the largest bit size possible and is practically unbreakable by brute force based on current computing power, making it the strongest practical encryption standard available. MoveData only performs actions necessary to automatically import information from connected integrations into Salesforce (as per the approved policies of those source platforms and of Salesforce). Actions performed on your behalf are stored in S3 for 90 days for troubleshooting and retry purposes only and are purged on a rolling basis so that no data is stored for any permanent duration. MoveData can also be configured to reduce the duration of data storage should your organisation require and can additionally be configured to run in your own Amazon Web Services account should your organisation require.
We don’t offer a free trial per se but we’re happy to install into a Sandbox Org if you want to have a more detailed test and play around.
MoveData is built specifically for Nonprofits and as such further discounts are not available. Use our Business Case Generator to forecast the return on investment your organisation can receive by implementing MoveData.
We sure can – this is a fairly typical task when going live into an existing Production Org. To do this you simply set a key value on the record(s) which need to be mapped. MoveData will guide you along this process which can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours depending on how many records need to mapped over.
Right now the short answer is no, but we may choose to support additional CRMs in the future. If you have a technical background we can provide access to the MoveData API (which provides normalised information across multiple integration sources) which you can integrate into your CRM of choice.
We come from a Salesforce consulting background and know how painful and frustrating it can be to migrate away from proprietary data models. On this basis we use a model which mitigates against vendor lock in. This is achieved by providing you with the maximum amount of intellectual property possible by ensuring all Lightning Flows, Apex code, custom fields, custom objects, data schemas and everything else installs directly into your Salesforce so that information is not removed information upon decommissioning. This gives you a capability that, should you wish to remove MoveData, or implement a different approach in the future, then you will not suffer an arduous migration effort and all information, configuration and automation is available for you to do with as you please.
We’re keen to hear them! Please use our contact us form.
