Absolutely – MoveData is completely free to use in Sandbox orgs and only commences the subscription when installed in Production.
MoveData uses a combination of unique identifiers and Salesforce Duplicate Rules to detect duplicates. Where a duplicate is detected, new information will be set against that record – if not, a new record will be created. See Duplicate Detection for more information.
Often organisations will capture custom information in their connected platform, and/or require information to be pushed into Salesforce according to a particular set of rules. MoveData utilises a configuration layer exposed in Salesforce Lightning Flows which can be easily extended to accommodate new business logic in your integration. Current integrations are listed here; you can also view our integration roadmap. If the integration you require is not present, please reach out so we can incorporate it or – at the very least – add it to our integration roadmap.
It depends on the capabilities of the connected platform and how frequently they make new information available. If your connected platform offers a webhook API then information will sync into Salesforce in real time. If your connected platform offers a polling API then information will sync into Salesforce at a scheduled interval (often 10-min or hourly depending on platform). If your connected platform does not have API capabilities then you will need to export a CSV report and upload into Salesforce using the MoveData App.

If you’re a Salesforce Partner please get in touch – MoveData can work direct with your accounts to install and configure on an as-needed basis, or can work with your team to onboard into MoveData so you can deliver customisation and support yourself.
MoveData is built specifically for Nonprofits and as such further discounts are not available under most circumstances.
Simply uninstall and contact your account manager to cancel your subscription. MoveData does not use a proprietary data model and write all information direct to your Salesforce Org, meaning information will not be removed upon decommissioning.
