This policy describes how long MoveData retains, and how it deletes, the Customer Personal Data and Customer Content that it processes as a processor on the Customer’s behalf in providing the MoveData Services. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Data Processing Addendum.
This policy covers the data MoveData processes on the Customer’s behalf through the Services. The personal data MoveData handles as a controller for its own website, marketing and customer-relationship purposes is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
The authoritative records always remain in the Customer’s Salesforce environment and connected platforms. The data MoveData retains is a processing copy, held only for as long as needed to deliver, monitor and troubleshoot the Services.
What we mean by “Notifications”
A “Notification” is a record of the content that MoveData transfers in and out between the Customer’s connected platforms and Salesforce (for example, a donation, registration, order or form submission).

Deletion
In the ordinary course, all Customer Content is deleted from the Customer’s MoveData account after 90 days. The Customer can ask us to delete an account, an integration and/or its associated data earlier at any time by contacting us at support@movedata.io or raising a request via our support page.
Deletion on termination
On termination of the Customer’s MoveData subscription, MoveData will return or delete Customer Personal Data in accordance with our Data Processing Addendum, unless we are required by law to retain a copy.
Backups and legal retention
Any residual copies of Customer Personal Data held in our routine backups are deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of our backup cycle. We may retain data for longer than the periods above only where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and we will delete it once that requirement no longer applies.
