GiveEasy is a popular product used by Australian organisations to facilitate appeaks. GiveEasy specialises in personalisation and allows you to quickly create targeted campaigns for dispatch via email or SMS.
The GiveEasy integration for Salesforce is an API integration. As such, information is automatically processed from GiveEasy into Salesforce without any ongoing administrator effort. The integration operates in real time and conforms to Salesforce best practices enjoyed by all MoveData customers.
Depending on your version of Salesforce, the Raisely integration will construct the following records:
Person Account records represent people in GiveEasy. The integration will look to match the GiveEasy data with an existing person account in Salesforce, and will only create a new record if it can’t find a suitable match.
GiveEasy accepts donations made on behalf of a company. Account records represent companies under which people make their donations. The integration will look to match the GiveEasy data with an existing account in Salesforce, and will only create a new record if it can’t find a suitable match. Relationships are automatically established between the donor person account and company account in Salesforce.
Campaign records represent campaigns in GiveEasy. These hold donations made against your specific GiveEasy campaigns. The integration also supports campaign members to represent the role of the person in the campaign.
Gift Commitment records represent subscriptions in GiveEasy. These parent their component gift transaction records which are converted according to the processing schedule in GiveEasy. Status is automatically synced between GiveEasy and Salesforce allowing you to report on failures, cancellations and other changes. The integration supports gift commitment schedules too
Gift Transaction records represent transactions in GiveEasy. The integration supports gift refunds, gift soft credits and gift designations too.
Contact records represent people in GiveEasy. The integration will look to match the GiveEasy data with an existing contact in Salesforce, and will only create a new record if it can’t find a suitable match.
GiveEasy accepts donations made on behalf of a company. Account records represent companies under which people make their donations. The integration will look to match the GiveEasy data with an existing account in Salesforce, and will only create a new record if it can’t find a suitable match. Relationships are automatically established between the donor contact and company account in Salesforce.
Campaign records represent campaigns in GiveEasy. These hold donations made against your specific GiveEasy campaigns. The integration also supports campaign members to represent the role of the person in the campaign.
Recurring Donation records represent subscriptions in GiveEasy. These parent their component opportunity records which are converted according to the processing schedule in GiveEasy. Status is automatically synced between GiveEasy and Salesforce allowing you to report on failures, cancellations and other changes.
Opportunity records represent transactions in GiveEasy. The integration supports refunds, soft credits and general accounting units too.
No two Salesforce instances are the same.
As such, the GiveEasy to Salesforce integration can be easily extended to incorporate your own business rules when processing information into Salesforce. This might involve mapping custom fields, creating custom objects, or running other business criteria on the basis of the information issued by GiveEasy. The result is an integration which “just works” with the way you use Salesforce.
This is achieved using Salesforce Flows and runs in real time as your GiveEasy data is processed into Salesforce. MoveData can perform this function for you and is a key component of our customer onboarding. Hands-on setup and on-demand technical support is available to all customers.

MoveData does what it says it would. The integration with those third party fundraising platforms is tight and a brilliant timesaver! We used to export data from those platforms and then manipulate the data to be imported to Salesforce – never again!
